Věra Wajsarová
During 80’s Vera Wajsarova was recognized as a top singer of musical style recognized as chanson. After graduating Prague’s conservatory she became a part of Krusnohorske theatre, later on she also participated on projects of the theatre in Teplice and Prague’s theatre ABC. After this experience her fertile cooperation with Petr Novak and the band George and Beethovens begun.
In the year 1982 she founded musical group called Minimum along with her husband Oldrich Wajsar and guitarist Jiri Koptik. By that time her solo career starts. Her songs can be characterized as chansons with a strong focus on lyrical part. Sometimes even the whole poems are put into the music, making her work pure, original and strong. The atmosphere of this period of her career is captured in her album “Zeme Delfinie”.
At the beginning of 90’s Vera ceased public performance and did not return back until recent time.
